Another Dam Race presents our new Relay Race!

So we can accommodate the extra time, Relay teams will start during the short course.

For the inaugural year, the relay team is an open coed with a minimum of 4 women.  There are only 2 divisions, unlimited and traditional OC-6.  This year we are not offering any other divisions for other water crafts.

Before the race starts, one of your starting paddlers will need to get a silicone START band to wear with your crew number on it at the timing tent.  This band needs to be exchanged for a RETURN band to be worn by a return paddler at River Lodge when your crews do their switch.  Both bands need to be turned into our timing team in order to qualify your race time for medaling.  RETURN bands are only given when the timing team receives an accompanying START band.

The strategy is left to you on how you want to seat your paddlers.  The main objective is utilize your paddlers to get your START wrist band to the River Lodge and get your RETURN wrist band to finish line.

Yes!  But just as the other relay crews, you are responsible to pay for all 12 seats and abide by the relay rules in order to do this race. 

Unfortunately for time constraints, because the relay starts at the same time as the short course, if you want to do 2 races, you will only be able to do short course and then the long course.

You will be responsible to get your return crew up to River Lodge Resort to do the relay hand off.  DON'T FORGET to hand off your car keys to your teammates so they have a way back to the start line to meet you.
